Tips for staying tobacco-free
Decide that you WANT to stay tobacco-free!
Go over your reasons for wanting to quit.
Get rid of lighters, ashtrays, matches and cigarettes.
Identify relapse triggers and work on solutions to keep from returning to smoking.
Review what did and didn't work during previous quit attempts. Apply what you have learned to quitting this time.
Get busy and do something else, ANYTHING but smoke.
Tell your family and friends you're going to stop so they can support you.
Save the money you would have spent buying tobacco. It adds up!
If you slip up, start over again... Don't give up!
